Recipe of the Month

Tajine
Tunisian Tajine Maadnous

Our Recipe of the Month features Tunisian Tajine Maadnous, a dish distinctly different from the more familiar non-Tunisian tajines. This savory blend of chicken, potatoes, and eggs is a versatile choice for nearly any occasion.

CD of the Month

Our International Music of the Month suggestion is for Sakura by Masa Takumi. The Album won the 2023 Best Global Music Album Grammy, a first for a Japanese artist. Masa Takumi's latest album, Sakura, paints a sonic picture of the iconic cherry blossom (sakura) season in Japan. Traditional instruments like the koto and shamisen blend with contemporary influences, creating a captivating journey through blooming beauty and serene contemplation. Each track captures a different nuance of the sakura experience, from the initial anticipation of blossoming to the quiet acceptance of their ephemeral nature. Immerse yourself in the timeless essence of spring with this award-winning album.
